Angelea Mitas is a veteran attorney who began her legal career in 1978, serving as a Public Defender in Westmoreland County. Over the decades, she defended thousands of clients in criminal matters of all kinds, including homicide, attempted homicide, robbery, assault and DUI.

Attorney Mitas brought that broad legal experience with her when she began serving as Disciplinary Counsel for the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania in 1994. She spent more than 25 years in the Office of Disciplinary Counsel, and served as Counsel-in-Charge of the District 4 office.

When an attorney is facing a Disciplinary Board complaint, a Client Security Fund claim, or Reinstatement, it’s vital to be represented by an experienced attorney who is fully versed in this specialty area of the practice of law. You need an attorney on your side who understands the process from the inside out and can guide through this complex process from start to finish.
